Crys Yin

The mouth often gives away too much, that’s why I make paintings and sculptures. Language can be easily twisted in translation, and so can tongues! Distort scale, skew some perspectives while I’m at it. Group figures and objects very close together – there is still a need for belonging, even if through comparison. But also, repetition is a means to bring order order order to my obsessive compulsive disorder. I want to follow my lines of curiosity until they become squiggles. I want to end it all with a laugh.
